I've heard that betting hurts people's chances of getting trusted tags etc, and I perosnally disagree with that,
I bet, (AND NO, THIS SUGGESTION IS NOT FOR ME) , and I trust a LOT of the people there, and I know they are trustworthy, and elpful etc.
But if they were to have any chance of getting a tag they would have to stop for 6 months i believe?
IF this isn't true just ignore it, let topic die down

It is the decision of the admin with council from the mod team to decide what characteristics are worthy of a trusted tag, and also who deserves one. This should be left up to those who make the decisions, in my opinion.

All you need to know about getting a trusted tag is located right here: http://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=4

Also, keep in mind that gambling is illegal. While it may be legal in some places, it is impossible to regulate areas and ages of betters on the internet.

Plenty of Trusted/Mediator tagged members frequent the Sports forums but none of them bet, for obvious reasons.

But I dont' think betting is frowned upon. Its not illegal to bet, its just not supported.

If it was illegal, people would get punished for it....therefore it shouldn't sway anyones decision as to whether a member should get a tag or not.
