Moderators can change topic titles last i checked.
was their abilities changed recently?

well it would be nice for them to fix the topic title instead of closing a thread due to topic title violation

I think the topic titles are encrypted (also threads, pms etc)

But if the function is not there, it shouldnt. I'm sure njaguar has thought of that for a long time ago.

If we make a mistake,
We can PM Mods to change it, or topic title violation, they can pm us and we can tel them what to change it to.

I'm 95% sure that they can already do this...

People are more inclined to learn and follow the rules if their topic gets closed instead of a moderator just fixing it for them.

they definitely can. it would be a waste of time for them to manually change topic titles cuz you broke the rules. if you wanted mods to find every topic title violation, then pm the poster, wait for the response and then change it, you must be crazy. that would be all they did
