this idea is jacked from another site that uses it so people that make WORTH WHILE posts have something to show for it, and people that post like fools also have that shown.

so under a users name will say "rep power"

then a number, all start @ zero ofc.

if you like their post, then you give them a + rep, if you don't u give a -

ofc limits would be put in place so that you could only rep say 5 ppl a day and can't rep the same person more then once every 10 reps or so.


also as your rep grows then your repping power will too, so when you rep someone thats a 5, and your 4,000, they jump up 200 or so as a respected poster (yourself) repped them. This will work the same way if you give them a Neg.

for each rep/neg you give you can also attach a comment to the poster why you rep'd/ neg'd them

We already have trusted tags, and groups.

People can sabotage the systems by getting large groups together and giving each other rep. the Trader: Trusted thing works much more effectively as only specific people can give tags.

This would be a cool idea, but you have probably seen some of the kids in General Chat. People would abuse this and just give out the worst possible, most negative ratings and it would be very unfair.

this has nothing to do with trading, d2jsp site is more then just trades, this is to encourage poeple to make better posts

Though this is a great idea, this can easily be abused by multis, rendering this system useless.

It could be easily abused by people creating lots of multis, but maybe if you had some restriction where you could only rate the trader if you've sent them gold or something like that... but that still has potential for abuse

On other websites, you need a minimum of posts to use this. Should be added to your suggestions.
and you could not someone's rating for 1 month. People with more then xx's % of warns could not use it etc.
You would have to give a good proof for a negative rating or something like this.
