I beg to differ, I have not been a mediator forever, when I was having issues in my guild chat I was just a plain member, and the mod's would respond to this type of problem, here is a good example..
http://forums.d2jsp.org/guild.php?t=905Post#2 as you can see by looking at the guild member list, none of the members in that guild are trusted + I'm not saying that your idea is a bad one, just that there are other simple ways to resolve the issue without Paul having to do a lot of coding and what not.
i find offense to your opinion,
just because you dont know someone or something or uneducated in the social aspect of the reputation of each individual it doesnt mean they arent trusted,
but if you mean by trusted tag, then i take back my response, but even some trusted tag users are bm.
friends can become enemies and enemies can become friends at any given moment, depending on your ethics on a forum site for a pc game it really doesnt matter in the end because anyone can become anonymous and are basically so, things can easily be forgotten over time or diluted in how much it actually matters or how it effects your actual life.
