I voted yes but this would be more complicated than most would think. Lets say that I post a topic in Diablo II trading forums. I get to the last reply after not early bumping or anything. I feel that it should be fair to keep that last post so everyone can see it and message me if they have it. Other cases where it should happen is if it ends up where someone posts a total spam topic and they close it. I totally agree with this topic, but I feel this would be very hard to fit everyones needs.

If your thread has been up long enough that you're able to close it yourself with little to no response(or even with adequate response), a simple repost is all that's necessary.

Great idea, only problem I see is that everything is set up to be in order of last post, I'm not sure how they would have it automatically move closed topics just to the bottom of the page...

voted yes, if it's doable it would def clean up the forums

I think closed topics should honestly get put in the archives
I've seen plenty of good, non-spam topics get thrown in the archives after 2 days of not being posted in, then the user has to repost the exact same thing.

Threads get pushed off the first page within minutes anyways, doesn't matter much if they get put towards the bottom 20 seconds earlier

This is a fantastic idea man biggrin.gif

It would help keep all the spam/improper/ overall terrible topics that
inevitably get closed from taking up space and views that could be used for
legitimate topics.

I vote for this to be idea of the month honestly.
