No, it wont happen, these changes were for the best.

If you purchase a guild chat or use the noteboxes, it is the EXACT same thing.

It all just comes down to people wanting to spam for post count.

who cares if ppl are spamming in THERE OWN guild chat for posts why does does it matter?
Someone wan to explain that?

Actually, the fact that people were getting +1's not only kept the guild chat alive but also cut down on spam in other forums.

I disagree although some users do use Guild Chat to spam many others use it to keep up with members, chat, post personal in game s/s and an array of other things.
The use of a IM system is for people that are online and ready to say what they need to say.
The Old Guild Chat system we could post something and then at any later time someone could see that and respond be it a minute or a week.

And if the guild owners are responsible they would tell their members not to just +1 for post count and if they didnt stop either report/Kick from guild I think getting rid of GC completely because people want to "spam for post count" is a bit harsh

this they closed my thread about the uber sub forum suggestion fast

they just don't seem to take well to criticism
they call talking about the topic excessive spam

Heh.

C_Taulborg made a thread in the LS forum asking for constructive criticism instead of useless complaining once, after paul made an update which most people hated.

I spent 30 minds writing out a several paragraph answer of what was the problem, how it could be resolved alternatively etc etc. I got a suspension for that.

The high ups of this site (mainly njaguar) don't give a flying shit about this community. he knows people will keep using his site no matter how many times he shoves a lead dildo up their collective rectums. he just wants fg out of the system, so more people buy it back in.

think about this:
say 100 guilds buy the guild chat. that's not an unreasonable number, thats actually a damn low number. i wouldn't be surprised if 100 guilds have already done so.
that's 100,000fg gone. and if that fg is going to be replaced by the community? that's $3200 right there. the real figure for that would probably be 10k+, and that's just the IM stuff, not the constant fg expenditure for extra notebook pages.

this won't change because he doesn't give 2 shits about our ease of use. if it doesn't line his pocket and strip ours, it's obviously broken or needs replacing <_<

-------------

I personally think that if he was worried about the spam, he could have removed the post count in the forum. easy fix, everyone happy.
this is just downright inconvenient.

I agree they just dont seem to care much for user input

maybe some of the guilds should get together to form a site dedicated to d2

maybe losing some of the guilds who bring in more $ AKA FG to the community would do more to sway jsp's opinion on things

if it were my fg/$ i would take 60 bucks to small claims court just for grins n giggles some one would have to show up or rish losing jsp
i own my company and it is a real threat and anyone could do the same to me i can't even walk in with a lawyer
it is a cheap easy way to get at some one or a company

We spend enough Fg on Guild itself,Guild member slots,Guild Avatar,Notebox,Ranks and others and now 1,000Fg to talk to our guild members?

Please dont make us pay for chatting with our guild members.
