Why would you have so many people on your friend list that would make it needed to be able to search for them?

its not for the friends list man its for the WHOLE jsp community to search for friends that you dont know their whole name

contains with wildcards would b very usefull

'Contains keyword' doesn't really important I think, you can press Ctrl-F -- I did several times and took like 10 seconds on the top to find someone

ScL EU has 1k pages (25k topics) bumped/posted daily, gl finding that user with that topic which had that 1 item,... or u tracked the topic but in 2-3 days it was archived and lost...
now u dnu exact name anymore...
