Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not trying to be rude.

To answer your question, though, my 120 page site suggestion has had its fair share of spam. Just ignore it or report it, but after reading this thread again it seems like you're arguing more than you are trying to explain how your idea would be better than using notepad.

Starting from post #34 you more or less brought the spam on yourself.

Yea I agree I'm talkin shit too...I realize that.
But I'm done here.

Reason 1: Site load! Would build up alot of unused space. There would be lots of blank "notepads" made for people to not use.

Reason 2: Address book. Just use the comments part. So what if it takes you 30 seconds more to do it then your idea. I would rather save a second or two when loading pages because the workload is higher.

Reason 3: most ppl wont use it. Because not everyone is a trader. Then also most traders wont use them. Most of us are lazy and wont use them except on extreme cases. And by that time most of us put it on our profile anyway.

Sorry but its just un-needed.

well stated.

I voted yes because i support the idea, but you need to calm down and stop flames.

Love the idea though.

Thanks, yea I'm done...just kinda felt cornered when a group of people started to slam me for no reason.
It started on another thread, then made its way to this one, thats why it makes me look so bad. Cause no

Hmm i kind of like this idea, i used to keep a notepad of traders i didn't want to trade with and it was getting pretty lame searching through the names every time i traded to see if they were on my list ^^
i've never used the address book in this way but i understand why this idea = better in a way, Since everyone could see the last comments made about you, not just one user.
Lets say John Doe scammed his last 4 trades, and now he has 4 negative comments, i read his comments in his profile and see he is a scammer and don't trade with him = 1 less scam for jsp to deal with

But GangusKahn i think you shouldn't insult people like this on jsp because they might be annoying, maybe if you wern't so aggressive in your reply to jbpellerin the flame war could have been avoided :P

imo this is where you went wrong:

Lol who the hell are you?  Rofl telling me not to demand explanations...hahahaha
Fag

I'm just ASKING people to explain, I never said I demand you to explain yourself.
And just because you wouldnt use it doesnt mean its a bad idea.  Gtfo you selfish prick.

Btw I already talked to Paul about it, and he said its something he could do, and he likes the idea.  So a little peon like you mean nothing here...pce

:bonk:

take away the bold and that post would have stoped the flame war, no need to be so aggressive in response to a negative post, this was just asking for trouble. imo this post was the match that lit up the curtains before the house came burning down ^^

anyway this idea seems okay to me, and about this idea taking up lots of space:

its not like adding some comments in a users page will add 50% bandwidth or anything
