well, you can edit yur profile as often as you wish. you cannot edit pms and there is a time limit for editing posts (and previewing should prevent the need of editing it after posting/sending).
this would create the same profile 2 times (1 preview, 1 current) - and thats not needed imo. same for signatures and avatars.

it is really annoying to screw up the coding and get things like [/color=red][/size] at the end
