i joined my buddies guild just to test this the other day, and when i left there was a pop up asking to make sure if i was going to leave

i'm pretty sure this is based on your browser and has nothing to do with jsp

It's a browser settings issue, b/c there is a javascript client-side (are you sure you want to leave) popup. But the leave link/button should be a redirect to another page with another button you have to submit to leave (a server-side confirmation, not a client-side javascript).

Good programming doesn't trust anything from the client-side!
