1. use a mediator & you won't need to keep notes
2. if you really really want to keep notes on every person you ever trade with.. then use wordpad.
3. i trade enough where i know pretty much all the people who are trustable on my realm.. therefore this "notepad" idea is pointless to me.

To answer your question, though, my 120 page site suggestion has had its fair share of spam. Just ignore it or report it, but after reading this thread again it seems like you're arguing more than you are trying to explain how your idea would be better than using notepad.

Starting from post #34 you more or less brought the spam on yourself.

Reason 1: Site load! Would build up alot of unused space. There would be lots of blank "notepads" made for people to not use.

Reason 2: Address book. Just use the comments part. So what if it takes you 30 seconds more to do it then your idea. I would rather save a second or two when loading pages because the workload is higher.

Reason 3: most ppl wont use it. Because not everyone is a trader. Then also most traders wont use them. Most of us are lazy and wont use them except on extreme cases. And by that time most of us put it on our profile anyway.

Sorry but its just un-needed.
