Maybe, But Probably No <-- If I post the link to my friend's request friend link (not that I would) in a popular section, he will have his pm box instantly filled, and can end up missing something important
Sorry if you already made a solution for this, but that's my answer

lol, you say yourself you wouldnt + if you do that its your own fault ;/

AND ALSO there is a option in this suggestion to turn the pm off....

No offense but your reason wasent good enough ;/

Hello :hello!:

I know this has been suggested before but I didnt see any active suggestion about it and I dont know if the old ones were denied or not.
And I think its a pretty good Idea so here it comes. (And please read the whole suggestion if you going to vote)

When someone add you, you will not see it until you look on your profile in your friendlist.
My suggestion is that when someone add you as a friend you will get a PM so you will see it for sure.
This is a bit similar to Calendar in the profile where you can get a pm when something in you Calendar happend.
And my suggestion also includes a function in settings, to turn this option ON and OFF.

Reasons why:
Its good so you can see clearly when someone add you.

Reasons why not:
It can be site lag
Some get many friend adds and/or maybe dont want a pm when they get added.

Counter Reasons Why:
It can be site lag - I dont think so (Up to admins to tell if so or not?) And we got a kinda similar thing in Calendar.
Some get many friend adds and/or maybe dont want a pm when they get added. - There will be a function to turn this on and off.

Please tell me if you see more reasons why/why not smile.gif
And please state why you vote yes or no! (If you vote yes and
leave no reason = You agree with the reasons I mentioned in the suggestion instead)
Leave opioion and vote, thanks! :]

that would be very helpful, and if people dont want the pm there could be a disable feature they could mark

I like this idea as well. I dont know why people are worryed about site load, Pual as got enough servers and power to each server to run this site with out having to worry about it. He can do alot of thigns with out increased site load.
