This wont happen, admin needs to log (as NOTE in warn log) every nick change (with previous screening process) , this cannot being automatic

so you're telling me the website can track EVERY gold transaction, EVERY pm transaction, EVERY post, EVERY user, and not names?

voted for no.

keep this process diffucult and troublesome or ppl could abuse it for escaping from their bad reputation,
especially which is hard to prove, like selling unperm as perm or trading in bad manner.

no if you made it more automated more people would do it.

i think njag needs to approve your new name too.

not nearly enough people do it to be worth it doubt it will be implemented.

Very creative and great idea.
But could be very helpful to scammers
Also, names could be changed to avoid
being locked, Mods would lose track
of Scammers names.
Also, if your account was stolen, the thief could
change your name and you would be lost track of.

I dont know.. think it over a little.

wow, does everybody think the same thing?
If there was a scam, would njag ask the kid "why do you want a name change? YOU SCAM KID?"
No, he changes it when he gets the gold.
It's useless trying to blame it on scams.

changing names isnt that popular.. imo automating wouldnt be that big of a change and if anything preventions would have to be made for scammers

why not just have patience ~.~

1 less thing njaguar has to wory about?
Name changes happen more than you think.
People post blogs "im getting a name change today" and stuff, then they wait 2 days to get the change due to "patience"

they dont track pms, or users log, thats would be a database k.o. ohmy.gif
and talking about databases, this is a good idea, but is too expensive to implement tongue.gif
every user try to chose a taken name mean a lose of database bandwidth rolleyes.gif
and ofc this could be abused to overload the site smile.gif
