I voted no. People tend to delete spam from their inboxes, and anything that is generic and unexpected could be handled as spam. At least I do so I don't like web e-mail accounts either which begin with inbox already spammed. New users might could it's an introduction to the site, and some could even save it making the PM useful for a few, but annoying for the rest of them.

yes for sure

if you dont have a coach for jsp
and your not very computer savvy
even finding your way around the site can be tough
a pm with need to know links and what not would be a great idea

I like the idea, make it undeleteable or something so everyone got the rules in their settings or pm so they got no excuse for violating the rules
