agreed with nickcaveandthebadseeds, norwegian/swedish and danish is in written pretty much identical, and either of the 3 would understand eachother perfectly - if anyone objects that they obviously have some dyslectic problems. And as also mentioned if swedes got their own, norwegians and danes would obviously want their own.. i like it when the 3 are gathered

I want this to be clear to any mod who reviews this thread, senior as well as junior, this suggestion is unneeded. The only reason the swedes wants this is to feel "special" or the fuck do I know. Scandi forums without the Fins = GG, why the fuck do we need anything else done?

ps Aveign is right, why the hell shoud Paul bother to make a new subforum when there's a perfectly fine one already ~

I have no intention to offend anyone, just stating my opinions on the matter. There are so many suggestions we could spend time discussing rather than this, and I honestly find the Scandinavia subforum sufficient for discussions between people from all 3 countries here and even the Fins who speak Swedish (and for that sake the Icelandics though thats stretching it hehe). I can see why people want 100% their own nationality in each forum, but as some forums are fairly slowpaced already (among them scandinavia subforum) even if bringing a handful more members of the selected nationality it would surely decrease the activity for the ones left even more. Sure we could start suggestionthreads for each nationality here but atm I honestly find the scandinavia subforum more than good enough for my use atleast.

Oh and you have doubts in us norwegians and danes understanding swedish? Honestly speaking there are dialects in each language that varies more from eachother than the languages themselves IF you take into consideration us "others" might wanna be interested in joining the discussion and hence leaving out the more un-common words.

Well just my 2 cents, if its a priority from the swedes I probably wont stand in the way and I respect your wishes - even though personally I wouldnt be bothered to sacrifice 2 other nationalities for a few more users from my own country - since as a nation and a group we mostly use IRC anyway.

Do you think Paul has to put much effort into making a subforum? Have you ever worked with a forum before? It would just take some seconds, not really true, but just a minute or two. Further why is that you can't leave this topic, you have already made your point, we have confirmed it and good bye dork. Period.



Maybe you consider yourself understanding all the different languages, I don't. In addition, many more nations have recieved their subforums, it's only fair if Sweden would get their's as well, mind the big list of sweds.
