Hello hand.gif

I know this has been suggested before but I didnt see any active suggestion about it and I dont know if the old ones were denied or not.
And I think its a pretty good Idea so here it comes. (And please read the whole suggestion if you going to vote)

When someone add you, you will not see it until you look on your profile in your friendlist.
My suggestion is that when someone add you as a friend you will get a PM so you will see it for sure.
This is a bit similar to Calendar in the profile where you can get a pm when something in you Calendar happend.
And my suggestion also includes a function in settings, to turn this option ON and OFF.

Reasons why:
Its good so you can see clearly when someone add you.

Reasons why not:
It can be site lag
Some get many friend adds and/or maybe dont want a pm when they get added.

Counter Reasons Why:
It can be site lag - I dont think so (Up to admins to tell if so or not?) And we got a kinda similar thing in Calendar.
Some get many friend adds and/or maybe dont want a pm when they get added. - There will be a function to turn this on and off.

Please tell me if you see more reasons why/why not smile.gif
And please state why you vote yes or no! (If you vote yes and
leave no reason = You agree with the reasons I mentioned in the suggestion instead)
Leave opioion and vote, thanks! :]

this would be perfect and if they alowed this as an option that can be turned on(default) or off then that would keep the people tht dont want ths happy

[X] maybe but prolly yes

this is indeed a good idea but untill the myevents feature came out i would have said no. It would take to much work to set this up just for the few times requests are sent out. Most people prolly see what 1 request a month on jsp after their first few months? But if there was a way to just copy and change the current system used in my events to shoot a reminder right before the friends request expires (this would free up the site lag by giving users the option of noticing it before the msg goes out). Then maybe this could be implemented without much work.
