Time for some srs bizns

Favorite Songs and Bands Chatter is an opinion forum and people are going to post their opinions (and they don't care about being nice when doing it). Just because a post is short does not make it spam, sometimes saying something like "I think that song sucks" is all that really needs to be said. If you want your opinion to be respected then you must respect other peoples' opinions. Only wanting positive comments is not respecting other opinions and is one major reason for the spam and flames to start (this isn't grade school, we haven't only been saying nice thing for years). Attacking people who say your music sucks is not respecting their opinions and it will cause flames & spam.

Once you start this cycle you become disliked by the forum for various reasons (ie being a whiny bitch, not being able to take criticism). Once at this point I've noticed the nasty habit of them just making it worse and worse by feeding trolls and complaining about how people don't like their music.

So now some protips
Ignore the trolls
Don't let nasty comments about your music get to you
Don't respond to every post you don't like saying "reported, please don't say anything bad about the band"
Keep topics focused and in one place, posting 5 different thread about how you like A7X & BMTH on the front page is just screaming FLAME ME
