Why do we need access to the illegal posted (closed) threads anyway? The only ones that would be good to see are the 60+ replies threads that are actual trades, But I'm sure people would see the reposted version?
What i'm thinking is how about an option for when a mod has Closed a thread, It is just plain deleted rather than left to drop through the pages?

Not how a forum functions, things are sorted accurately by last post it would confuse the heck out of people.

This seems to be the chief worry so far. I'm not 100% sure it would confuse people, but I do see the point. If that worry is a show stopper for the suggestions, there may be two further ideas to save it, first:



[Or, it could be defaulted as off, and toggled to turn on], and second and I think probably better,

it could be a forum option that looks like this: Sort Topics By [with a scroll down with two options, d2jsp Default and Sort by Activity].

So I guess my thinking revolves around the idea that if they change were made, people would quickly adapt to it. Most forums have topics appearing in the way they do on d2jsp, but I'm not sure if that's a reason for dropping the idea. The idea has had some good reviews so far, so it looks like most of the users voting wouldn't be confused, and in a way it may create a cleaner look and gte people into better/more active topics faster. I'm interestd to see if the idea still has any life, but it's worth noting your concern, as it's a big one for this suggestion and it may ultimately be its end

I say yes to this, though i also like the toggle on off function I don't really like going onto the forums though and seeing closed topics right in the middle or at the top, it just makes people take a look then possibly have the chance of them reposting something about it or trying to reopen the topic for discusion, like "What's so-and-so about...ect"

Nope, if a thread was closed I might wanna know about it and read what happened. Things get closed for B.S. occasionally and people should be able to find them easily.
