The hadron collider experiment got me thinking about it, to be honest. I don't think it would be a difficult section to keep clean, compared to average. People posting nerd insults would only need to reflect on their posts to see the irony in it. All forums are difficult to keep clean, which is why we've got a super-sexy Mod team. I don't think a Science & Technology forum would be a target area for spam--there's no incentive for it there. Besides, I always thought spammers were repelled by places where thinking happens

That was a good day to make the suggestion: first experience with the LHC!

Of course it would be amazing to get on sub-forum dedicated to Science and Tech, because there's so many progress made and so many inventions and gadgets that are amazing and it would be a very good source of culture for everyone to share those with their JSP mates.

Only problem is that it makes again another Section to moderate and spammers / flamers will get a real pleasure to insult everyone there calling them nerds or geeks or whatever. I think it's gonna be very hard to keep that section clean.

I think its a really good Idea...

This forum would be very popular for the people who want to talk about their passions, technological rumors etc.
