not all pets are dogs or cats (in which cases a vet would help). Most vets couldn't do anything about a fish, for instance.

I voted yes, as it *usually* can't hurt to at least have a sub forum to talk about this stuff. That being said, if you're a pet owner and you're looking for information there are other forums dedicated specifically to that type of pet
