I voted no. I think there should be a refresh option on a thread that can be used twice with a 30 minute delay. After that it should be every 4 hours. If you lower it to 2 hours it wouldn't solve the problem, most items(specially since ladder reset) will either be sold in an hour or it won't be sold, or have to wait until evening(if morning) or morning(if evening). Either way every 2 hours isn't going to change much. But having the ability to refresh the topic twice like that would give people the ability to see it without it being spammed. Specially since the speed of the topics are traveling, the one day the top 15 were made within the last 10 seconds of me refreshing, and for you to click on a thread and read it you'll skip atleast 20-100 posts depending on how busy it is. The intervals give people 3 times in a hour for them to see it giving everyone's thread ample time to be seen.

P.S.Also if you think this is a good idea i'd take it a step farther and make it so ever 4 hours you have the renewed refreshes making All topics able to be seen and taken seriously.

JSP is more like a flea market than a store, you usually have a main purpose when you go to a regular store... you can see something and be surprised and like it on jsp, which makes the search feature useless in that case(unless like I said you know what specific item you want)

what do people do when it reaches page 2? they either bump it or make a new ft. if everyone does it, theres no fucking wonder it reaches page 2. the 4 hour bump rule would be enough if everyone stopped breaking the rules. and in all honestly, is the shift from 4 to 2 gonna do shit? no. people may wait initially but shortly after... they gonna be early bumping again.

you dont need to sit on the site for 4 + hours to bump. you just need to come back 4 hours later and bump it. either way, people can see it through the search feature

/e that is ofc if you dont make misleading topic names and clearly state what you are selling or iso.

njag has closed plenty of these threads asking to shorten up the bump rule. however doesnt mean he will automatically since things do change.
