The price guide is very off, misses a lot of common items sold on East Non-ladder. I would not mind working on a new one with someone, getting accurate prices, not a range like 9k-20k...

Yes, very inaccurate.
If you find it inaccurate than pm me what you think is off. Every PM I have received has been altered accordingly.

I agree....
This morning I found a fancy GC and I went to Ladder Price Guide for a check....
Lawls
Seriously, the new Price Guide doesn't help at all
Explain? Do you mean we should add fhr/str/dex GCs to the list? That is a 1 minute altercation if that's what you need.

issue one, missing items
issue two, price range to large
issue three, price WAY off of some items
issue four, needs rare items calculator (frc rings, boots, gloves...)
Explain where price range is too large? And what items do you feel are missing?
We never intended to add rares due to the price fluctuating. That is why there is a price check forum for rare items.

issue five; information is far to broad every way you look at it;
* I went to look up price for Lwz and it said low/high ; this had me stuck for a bit
* I also looked up price for 775 DS Nigma; but of course was dodged again
That is definitely on there, just not specified as armor type. If you need it specific, it's quite clear it means DS/Ap/Mp

The new price guide indeed has many prices very much off the current selling prices, and I do not understand the meaning of "Use best judgement" at all, is the maker trying to say, take offers, or something else?
I feel that some of the posters here made a good point that we should actually pm the makers to suggest revising the prices, that might help as we have many eyes to help keep track rather than just two of them giving out prices.
However, the price guide makers should have actually consulted their community of friends for prices before they make a guide for it, so much so as it is very different in terms of layout and prices from the previous guide. Why fix something that isn't broken?
I do not agree that we should do away with a price guide totally, as we all know responses in the Price Check forum is not that fast to help secure a trade sometimes.
Just my many cents worth, as I do feel that some revisions are needed to the recent Price Guides on Us east Nonladder AND Ladder, as the guide makers do not actively trade on the respective forums in the past 3 months to half a year to accurately make a guide.
"Use Best Judgement" - If you are bidding on a 08 valk you obviously want to use your own judgement since the price of it ranges very high. And yes every guide will not be 100% perfect, that's impossible due to prices changing. This is why you have price ranges.

i think that a price guide is messed up anyways.....
i am not a rich jsper by no means but my gold in out in january was 12k/11k
from what i have saw, and i sell gear for people is that the item will onyl go for demand.
great example....
i sold a pelt very similar to the one join has ft about a month ago. at the time noone thought it to be usefull i sold it for 200fg.
join posted one almost identical mine had 3 life less and the same mods. his co is 16k. the reason for this is that he found a guy who is actually iso the exact stas he has. now when i sold mine noone was. and the price guide priced my item at 150fg.
price guide is never real. just a good guess. u want to see what something is worth ....search it and see what people are geting.
This is why we tried to avoid rares on the guide.
So, to some it up. I can make the guide more specific for those who don't know "perfect" stats of an item or the price of a rarely sold unique that sells for a few fg.
I could also add fhr/str/dex stat gcs. What we do not plan to add is rares, the other guide doesn't even have rares... It's just not something worth adding.
I don't see many prices being off, if you find one that may be too low or too high pm me it. What seems to be the problem (atleast for the guy posting this) is he needs it as specific as possible instead of saying "perfect" or "high" which if others have problem knowing the stats of an item I will add more specifics.
Thanks
