they should completely remove the TT from diablo because it has no meaning anymore.

Without sites like this, it would just be the game. The rules define what best provides a safe game play and easy way to get the stuff you need.
Thinking about something does not make it happen, unless you have the means and authority to change it. If a person gives you a cookie, don't go for the whole package. It is rude and just unacceptable. Do what you gotta do! Otherwise, go make your own site where what you say means something.

You can get threads removed from Runescape forums because of not having trusted tag...

But hell... Its sort of pointless to have ANY tag for a website like this...

Trusted tag has nothing to do with trading anymore.

It's just if you want to work (for free) for the site as mediator or higher rank since you get it by helping the mod staff.

Mediator tag is usefull.

Trusted tag is getting crap.

my response is that the trusted tag shouldn't be easier & paul/ the mod team have every right to give tags to their friends.

i only have two arguments.
1. change the trusted tagged name to something more like "mod in training"
2. allow ubers/ grushing without a tag (because 100000000000000 people do it anyway) and the tag has nothing to do with D2 anymore.

Simply put, No. On the vent server I use, there are only 3 senior admins, myself included. We always get lots of other people asking "Hey can I get mod" and etc. We always say no. The reasons for this are pretty straightforward.

First : To be a mod, especially on a site like JSP, there has to be an ABSOLUTE amount of trust. An amount of trust that no matter how bad things got you would not betray njaguar or any JSP users. That is a very tricky thing. It is simple to make lots of small trades without scamming. But to be trusted in mediation trades with sometimes as much as 65k in items being traded that is a whole different story. 120 posts and one year join date are far from building that level of trust. You have to care more about the integrity of this site than your forum gold.

Second : If everyone had it, there would be no point. Again I will reference my vent server. If everyone had admin, everyone could ban///remove users//do whatever and it would be complete chaos. It would be even worse than not having it at all. Which on that note, not having it at all would basically cause a site like this to go to hell because scammers would never be prosecuted.

Third : Having a trusted tag is not a MUST to do anything. All it does is guarantee you receive first and trades and you can legally make your own service threads. If you are so worried bout receiving first then just use a med. Nuff said. If you are so concerned about offering services, simply offer in people's threads when they are "ISO a grush". You can also befriend a med and offer your services through him/her.

In summary bro, there are plenty of reasons why trusted tag is so hard to get. The more you whine about it the more likely you will never receive it. I have never scammed anyone and value friendship//reputation over any amount of fg, but even so I am miles away from ever even being considered getting a trusted tag. It is best to just put it off your mind and let things unfold as they will

The current rules are fine, and they are needed (think about an other game called Real Life)

Use mediators, follow the rules. This way you can do everything
