Talking about the use is.

If someone from say Ohio says they were doing whatever drug.  They are actually admitting it and if prosecutors wanted to come in and prosecute they have a confession right there.

It's like video taping yourself breaking into a store and leaving the video behind.

Statue of limitations.

And again, DRUGS are not illegal everywhere, you cant ban something on the internet when the whole world doesnt do the same, the internet isnt based of the usa.

you're ignoring that fact drugs are not illegal in some places, it's like someone coming on and trying to get talk of guns banned because it is against the law to carry one in their country.

you should be able to just ignore it anyway, and very few people are pressured onto drugs because of forums, it is in real life where peer pressure etc comes into effect.

edit: but i do agree that trusted or higher shouldn't talk about it, it seems very unproffesional

I think it all depends on the context. The subject of drugs is a political and social hot-topic these days, and several states in the US are just beginning to rethink their stance regarding certain substances.

While this site will never support or advocate illegal activity, we are not here as a censor. We value a community that is mature enough to discuss different issues, with minimal rules and guidelines. However, if there is a specific incident that is getting out of hand or seems inappropriate, a moderator will step in.

Alcohol is legal everywhere (as far as I know) Majority of drups he is talking about are banned in most/all places

I dont think it should be banned completly, as some people may be trying to persuade people not to do it unsure.gif But there should be a fine line between actualy useful discussion and trying to show of by claiming you tried to kill youself by smoking weed or so.

Honestly, spyder, insead of banning it, just laugh at the people proud of themself for ruining there bodys smile.gif

drugs is legal where i live so can i talk about it?

Er, name a country where P is legal kthx

I think it's a bit much to ask for all discussion to be banned though, 90% of this forum are stoners. Just sit back and laugh at them destroying themselves in the sake if a few laughs.

I was being sarcastic. The drugs which are discussed mostly are salvia (legal) and marijuana.

There isn't a single death tributed directly to cannabis in 10 000 years. Tobacco kills 400 000 people in US every year. So talking about ruining bodies. How about banning talking about tobacco?

Decriminalizing possibly. Not legalizing.

Big difference. As well as federal laws trump those state laws.

As to the post about asking people to have to change their avatars / signatures.

Tough break if it gets approved.
There are plenty of things people are told to change their sigs and avatars about. SO I don't see it as a huge deal to have them change theirs.

No, they are legalizing it. Because so many people smoke pot there anyways, they want to make some money off the tax they will make on Marajuana.

There is a bill out to legalize and tax it.

It probably won't be passed. This happens more often then one would think.
