Maybe that feature in the Signature/Avatar Request Forum too when you found a Signature/Avatar that you like, you'd be able to close your thread.

hmm you mean autoclosing every personal blog and that only creator can post new posts?
or restrict it to friendlist?

unexpected spammers' visit is the very reason i wouldnt like to post another blog anymore.
yes to any kind of suggestion that can exclude them (+1 seekers) from blog.
