You just proved why it would be a good idea.

It would be much easier to have a subforum and the topic can just say NAME For Sale then they would list the details, pricing and so on. If it get's spammed then oh well it's bound to happen but it would keep the Guild Chat and Recruiting forum nice and neat. This would also be good for the mods who update the sticky about guilds for sale so they don't have to constantly update it and see if there are any new add-ons.

Im not sure where your getting your numbers from.

5 a week is way less then the real amount of guilds for sale in a week. Think about it for a minute, if someone puts up a guild for sale what makes you think its gonna be sold in a week? It could take weeks or months to get it sold and i guess you dont really look in the three forums that have these topics but if you take a look at the current donor forum topics and gen chat topics alone there are *13* that are being sold this week in the donor forum.

The reason why i point out that this user may or may not have df if because again a lot of people dont have donor forum access but that doesnt mean they shouldnt limited to the guilds they are able to buy or for that matter if someone wants to see there guild but they dont have df not everyone checks Gen chat/Guild chat and recruiting so if they cant post in the df then they may not get as may offers on there topic. That doesnt seem fair to me.

So that makes at least 13 guilds for sale this week and 1 iso guild topic. Also keep in mind that in gen chat i got to about page 6 and stopped looking because as i said before it is flooded with spam and pages 4-6 are 99.9% closed topics which imo would make it very hard to sell a guild in or find a guild in for that matter. Also note that i did not look for topics in the Guild chat and recruiting forum.

Now lets do the math, 13 + 5 next week that could mean that there would be 18 next week, so 18 + 5 from the week after = 23. We can all see where this is going seeing as guilds dont always sell in less then a week those topics are all proof of that.

Lastly i want to point out what you guys have been saying about the mods having a topic you have to update. For awhile i was the one that was doing updates for that topic and sending them to a mod that was helping me. Now a mod is handling it which takes away from his other work on the forums because he has to look for topics in 3 different forums and add them to the sticky. Where all they would have to do if a sub forum was added would be keep an eye out for spam in that forum which wouldnt be hard to spot compared to trying to find a guild for sale topic in the biggest spam forum on the site.

See where im coming from? Again this post was not meant to offend anyone just wanted to lay the facts out so people can get a better idea of what im talking about. Made some parts red to show there importance.

Ok, so in 1 month there has been about 13 topics posted there will probably be 20 active topics per month ish. That still isn't enough to make it worth a subforum.

I know there are people without DF access which would like to buy a guild, however there's an easier way to get round that - Making a rule that all Guild sales must be done in General chat.

The topics that you posted range from 1st to 24th, So, in 24 days 13 new topics have been posted. I just dont think there are enough trades to make it worth it.
