I have a suggestions similar to this. Its basically adding a flood control to users own posts. So if no one has given a reply and they try to bump before the 4 hours is up it will not let them.

Another idea I found better is if Mods would just become stricter, like if some1 reports an early bump as it is done alot instead of the mod closing the thread. They should take away forum gold privileges for that user for a certain amount of time so even if they do continue to early bump they wont be able to make the trade until the time the mod has given till he can access his forum gold.

Either way something needs to be done about the absurd amount of early bumps in the trade forums
