I really think that if you want to make your thread noticeable you should make it when first create the thread. No need to play games.

It's always possible that you forget it, and it would save quite a few people time so why wouldn't it be a good addition?

I don't see any possible reason why this shouldn't be added. The only some-what valid argument presented is that you can PM TM/TA to have it closed and repost after. For some of us, waiting one to four hours is too long. For the rest of you, what's the harm in letting us have this feature for our benefit?

Have you ever tried PMing a TM/TA? It takes 20-30 minutes or more just to get a reply for anything. Could the reason for such delays possibly be because people are constantly requesting things such as this, which could easily be handled by themselves with minor site editing? There shouldn't be a need to take up their time when this is such an easy change.

I don't see this adding any more load on the site than the normal thread editing does, nor do I see how it would be very difficult to code. You can literally copy/paste to get this job done as far as coding goes. There isn't a downside that I can see, but please tell me if I'm wrong.
