No. He means when people need a random xfer, sometimes they will make a new topic just to hit the mediator request button. This new xfer button will stop the need for making a new topic, and thus reducing spam.

They can (and do) make topics to press the request button, but a button would eliminate this spam.

The button would automatically request a mediator and show us the important info (realm and link to user) so we can PM them. :wub:

You say may say 'this can be abused' - well everything can. People sometimes abuse the request mediator button now.

The would onlt be able to have 1 active request at a time, so it can't be spammed. If a person is abusing it they will be attended to just as they are now.

As a mediator, I can say. This would make xfer mediations easier for me. I prefer when people request, not PM me because meds cannot always xfer right when PMd. This will make transfers easier for users and meds!

Voted yes. I suggested it a long time ago but I was either told no or they forgot about it. Either way it would be useful to mediators and users alike.

Imo a great idea, would cut all those x-fer "spam-topics" and make it easier and faster to reach a mediator ^_^
