It makes clear sense to me... If for nothing else; for the Mediators, this would save a good few PM's as well, i belive.

1) Closed posts could be violations, or illegal trades
2) Could be used to spam the med q
3) Buyer and seller must reply on the topic, so there's a good chance this didn't and cannot occur.

Too much possibility for problems and abuse.
