Wrong again, the less time the bump rule has would cause topics to be spammed in like crazy to stay on the top of the list to be seen by traders. Which would cause a topic to hit the 60post close (if trading grounds) really quick.

but responding to someone who bumped your thread for you, their post is an early bump, as is your response to it.

If me responding to a post doesn't resolve in it being closed, then why have about 7 of my topics been closed because of responses? This: 3 pages of bumps, all outside of 4 hours apart, then one response to another user's post, and bam! the topic's closed due to early bump. Explain that then.

Well that's the problem. The posts from other users are legitimate trade responses, then after I respond to that I am the one with the closed topic.
This makes no sense to me and that is why I am trying to get this removed/looked at.

Hey good luck!

That would be considered a spam post and if you reply to it would count as early bumping as it has nothing to do with the trade topic.
