Voted yes, but you could easily copy and past the url to the thread into your profile and track it that way, but this would be easier.

That's true.

But in this way, in my opinion, the Topic Tracker is doing only half of the work.

Can't really see the point we are not allowed to track an archive topic.


Let's take another example:


A guy has been scammed. But he want to put in the scammer accusation all the old threads too, just to warn the scammer did that even in the past.

Then that guy find these topics, but are all in the archives.

Shouldn't be useful to keep these topics even in the tracker? He may consult them easier and more quick.


That also about an interesting thread.


Maybe someone open a topic about cooking recipes, or about how to hand brush, or any other kind of thing that requires a long explanation.

Well, you read it..cause you are interested, but you also decide to track it for consulting it in the future.


Is impossible in this way...you have to copy and past everything, and you have to do it immediately because you don't know if and when the topic will be archived.

...isn't boring?

You can always bookmark your topics in your browser if you wish to save them forever or for prolonged periods of time.
