It would be easier to track threads if people didn't early bump them like and repost them a lot in a short time frame..

I don't see problem with 4 hours.

Now when you said ''didn't''

What? How does that affect thread tracking? This would completely discourage reposting as it makes it easier to legally bump.

Voting yes of course. If the rule was more reasonable, more people would actually follow it imo. Four hours is a bit ridiculous when the topics are off the first page in a minute.

Also, a note to the mods: 2 hours makes it a lot more likely that people won't be early bumping. Making the rules a little more lax reduces the amount of rule breakers and lightens the load for TA/TMs because of reports of early bumps.

thanks ill edit the first post in this thread for that :P

Matter a fact, i think it should be 30 minutes.

I say yes.

I typoed on a post earlier, and caught it an hour after. Corrected, bam. Locked. This is outrageous.

There's also like a 15 minute cooldown to repost a topic.

thanks :)

Voted Yes.
Currently, the bumping rules punish those who actually follow them. I see a reduction in the bump time as helping to fix that issue.

No

its fine how it is. there wouldnt be a problem if you guys didnt constantly bump your post or repost your topic... you are lucky enough there is a search feature and it, imo, gets used.
