I 100% agree. I believe there are two major problems with the site:

1) Not enough moderators despite plenty of active and trustworthy people:
* The site is growing everyday. Look at the total Jsp users, then compare it to the total Jsp staff.
* Often I find it takes days for threads to be closed for violations.

2) Most of the current moderators are not strict enough.
* I've pmed reported people who have done pages and pages of early bumps, repeatedly stalked/spam, and they don't even get 10% warn, my pm is simply ignored.

There are many multi's and banned users on this site. Many people that quite or don't use this site. There is no real way of telling how many people really use this site.

The users just plain and simply need a warn for violations. I've seen days where there will be a moderator closing every single violation within seconds after it happens and everything runs so smoothly, but I of course understand that they can't do this for more than an hour without it becoming a huge pain in the arse. If you check the posts of the people who religiously spam the trading forums, you'll see that they contribute nothing but trouble and problems and just need warned if not banned.

Search the post of that user. I'm certain that the last 30k things he's posted haven't been at all related to trading and atleast 99% of that is mindless spam. Just recently did they put him out of his misery.

This problem seems to have caused many problems with D2Jsp staff and D2Jsp member's

Examples; people being scammed , raging , crying , hacking, and so on.

I do agree with you are Mods need to step up and do there job or.. Njaguar should start recruiting.

You're part of the problem.

This is a valid point, however, let's just take a look how many users are online right now:

Online Users: 4,571

Online Jsp Staff:
5 Members++
4 Trade Assistants
6 Junior Moderators
4 Trade Moderators
3 Moderators
1 Senior Moderators
0 Administators

23 total

That's 1 staff member for every 198 members.

The ratio isn't the problem, it's the fact that people get away with repeat violations.

Violation > Violation > Violation > Violation > Verbal Warning > Violation > Violation > Violation > 10%

It should simply be
Violation > Verbal Warning > Violation > 10% > Violation > 20%

Good point. I think there should be a few more mods :P.

I think it's a mix of ratio + your point.

That's why my other post included 2 problems:
1) Not enough staff
2) Staff is too lenient (the point you just brought up)
