it is impossible to count how many proxys are availble at the moment and there are TONS of new ones every day ( every hour ? )
also how could you check if an user uses a proxy or if it's just his IP ?
this idea is stupid and not do-able

Personally, I don;t give a shit about multi's, just use a medi to prevent scams.

but why should we have to worry about scamming....
like b.net does with hacks i think any random accounts that are tied to other accounts made on that ip should be deleted...

voted yes. this isn't about trade scammers so much as it is about spammers. people create multi accounts to spam inappropriate things, and they do it because they know they can get away with it.

there is allways ways to get back on a site.
a VPN service would fix this.

also some of the proxys change ip very often.
and if he make a ip range ban or what i shall call it he would loost alot of members.
since there is many people who has the beginning of the ip from a proxy ( w/o proxy )

and it's not illegal to use proxys. what if people must have a vpn cause they downloading movies? =>

and you suggest that njaguar should check after every proxy site in the world? ;S
there is over millions proxys.
1* proxy program can have over 1k ips xD

now just go out and make a list of all proxy ip addresses on the web. And then bring me back the hide of the Nemean lion and capture the erymanthian boar and clean the augean stables in a single day

I say it really doesnt matter. its going to happen. I dont care what you think.... There are so many hacker style ppl out there that want to see if they can do it. So if you do this its only going to be worse cause you will force these guys/gals to put forth effort to continue what they already have so they will increase their production effectively flooding it...

This way school and work can still read if they don't have a private proxy / unbanned from the list.
