I ask you again. Are you new or just dense? If you really think this site is as much of the fair place as you make it out to be, you have alot to learn. Still a no from me.

Are you really going to stoop to borderline flaming because I don't agree with you? I ask you again, why should I sit by and let things be if I disagree with them? This very forum is here to encourage people to speak their minds about what they feel should happen to the site. When did I say this site was fair? Please do not respond to this thread again if you're going to continue the borderline flaming. Do not spam here either.

if the site was trying to eliminate betting and gambling then paul would auto-ban anyone who did
but they aren't they just don't waste the time and effort into "SUPPORTING" it

And if they aren't supporting it, then they shouldn't support the lottery. Simple.

Please reread the first post. This has nothing to do with wanting the bettors list to be readded. And FYI - there is a way to stop scamming there and it's fairly obvious. If JSP supported it and used it's mediators to mediate bets, on top of allowing bettors lists, then anybody who welched would be scammer tagged and locked, thereby preventing them from continuing to welch. So, before you attempt to use that as support for your reason against this, learn what you're talking about, especially when it has nothing to do with this topic.

If the staff says gambling is not supported, then the lottery needs to be removed. It doesn't matter if it makes people happy or not.

Please refrain from voting if you're going to use personal reason and not logic.

NN for hostility, mate. "thereby preventing them from continuing to welch" I guess that explains why noone ever gets scammed in the trading sections anymore rofl.gif

As long as there is greed, there will be scams. I was only saying that in the betting ground there is that factor, but in relation to the raffle, there is not rolleyes.gif

That doesn't really work either, since that would say that the site supports gambling.

It would say that the site only supports gambling in the form of the official lotto system set up.

They need to take an all or nothing stance on the issue and be done with it.

Why do they need to take an all or nothing stance?

By saying gambling is not supported by anyone except the lotto system, the stance is set and done.

Borderline flaming? I'm simply trying to put it into a simple little idea that you can wrap your mind around. It seems that you believe that if you suggest something, which has been suggested a seemingly innumerable amount of times, that just because someone of importance said that this or that is illegal, that automatically something will happen. You either spend all of your time in the Sports forum, or don't browse much at all period. If you've even taken a MINUTE to look around at some of the comments the people in power have made, you'd probably have a dozen more suggestions like "stop admins from making subtle flames in pre-suspension comments!," and so on.

I have no interest in flaming you, or anyone else for that matter. I'm just trying to say that this suggestion is a waste of time on both your part(for posting it) and mine(for trying to reason with someone who is unwilling to be open to it).

Yes sports betting and buying lottery tickets are one in the same.
You can't ban one and not the other.

Betting = User vs User
Raffle = User vs System

Which is reliable? And which is not?

Trading isn't scam proof either, yet it is supported. (Which for the 20th time has nothing to do with this thread.) Donor forums have no relevancy here either.

You're calling me dense because I don't agree that I should just sit back and let things be. You're accusing me of bitching when all I've done is civily debate this point. You say you have no interest in flaming me, but all I can get out of your posts is that you're calling me stupid. Stop assuming things about me and stop posting in this thread. You're not offering anything constructive and are just wasting my time.

If the site supports any gambling at all, they still support gambling. There's no way to say that they don't support gambling with an official forum lottery.

That makes no sense. If they weren't going to do that, then they wouldn't support trading either. So, no, that's not what they mean.

It wasn't hostility. I don't know why you brought up the Sports Coliseum forums, since this has nothing to do with that. It's not like they're saying they don't support betting because of the scamming issue. Besides, betting communities are much smaller than the trade forums, so adding mediators there would greatly help stop welching.

================================================================================
Let me make this clear: I am NOT attempting to get betting supported. Stop using it as reasoning in your posts as it has no relevancy.

And trading is just as reliable as betting. Stop making me repeat that.
