It's not. Gambling for real money in real casinos is, but this is not. I asked my brother inlaw, he's a lawyer and I don't even know why I asked but he said he remebered something about this. He said it was not illegal unless the currency could be re-sold the same way as it was bought, which Fg cannot legally.
