Imagine being, with that option, able to answer at all suggestions not yet moved to pending.
Future of this site somehow depends on our input, and many not tagged can help only by voting @ suggestions.
More votes on something is a signal for mods to focus on what is needed, and being able to see where you voted, allows you to browse on and on through all suggestions,
often to Bringing Up Iimportant Stuff.

By the way, congrats @ memory, i admit mine isnt that good
