The steady 2/3 majority of in favor continues to hold. I'll stop bumping this thread after njaguar gives an official ruling on the matter, I want to make sure it has received his attention and that he is aware of the solid support for this suggestion.

A majority of D2jsp voters agree with you it seems. Although there have been some 'no' votes, no reasons have been given for them whereas the merits of this idea are obvious.

I'm starting to get the feeling that people are voting no simply because I keep pointing out that a solid two thirds of voters support this idea and for no other reason than to pop my balloon.

I realized that I asked voters not to comment but some have disregarded that and commented anyway. I would imagine that anyone opposed to this idea would be even more inclined to comment than someone in favor of it, but then again, there are only seven of the former and twenty one of the latter.

There's a lot of information that I would like to access that is currently locked up in those archives. At least 28 other people feel the same way.

There hasn't been any feedback to suggest that implementing this idea would make the site slower either. Please do not make assumptions about the consequences of this suggestion, it is straightforward and simple. In the meantime, please continue to vote. Your input is both useful and desired.
