I don't consider myself old @ 27 either hell I might be to young for my own suggestion yet I realize that I'm a little older than most kids who play these games...don't mean I don't like to play. I think what these kids don't realize is they will someday be in this same exact postion once a gamer always a gamer it's just the way it works. I started playing back in the day at like age 13 and I've never stopped for any reason other than work, school...etc. I'll always play no matter who might say it's wrong. I do it cause I enjoy it period.

This in no way makes you a loser, fat, or bad at life. I'm also very active, I have a great paying job, I do a little to well with girls (anyone want some crazy ones? take them off my hands ), I get out of the house for whatever when I need to, but tbh I have all those options that i can choose from any day of the week and yet I'd rather sit and game because it is what I truly enjoy to do

To shield older users from the young, immature users??

Shouldn't admission, then, be based not on age, but on maturity from a state of mind perspective?

I think it would be very difficult to decide who should and should not be let into such a subforum...

And wouldn't such a subforum only reinforce the differences between age groups, and make it harder for you to interact with the rest of the forum?

this suggestion has turned into a very very good example of why this needs to be done. I'm happy to place myself on the firing range for these kids because it's only gonna help me make my point.

Well..I go to a forum that has a pay to post section.

You had to pay XXX amount of forum currency a month in order to receive posting privileges.
It works quite well, since people who aren't serious about posting rarely are willing to pay to enter a forum where no one will pay them any head.

Unfortunately, this discriminates against users with low fg incomes.
