Ubers and rushes are already extremely easy to scam. There really is absolutely no definite way to prove that the person you rushed or uber'd was actually who they said they are. The service maker could easily start a deal with someone, log in another character and claim to be that person and not have anything done as it was "completed" by the given information.
When you go to pm with game and password, you say what character you will be using and what your d2 account will be, simple as that.
I voted yes on both, and I agree there are people who should have a tag for ubers/rushes.
As the current rules state right now, a person could steal a torch even from a mod/trusted user:
"Uber Trist Rules:
* They will be treated like any other service, meaning you must have a trusted tag to offer them.
* You may respond to requests for service without a Trusted Tag.
* You may make topics requesting services affiliated with this.
* All rules regarding services are to remain effective.
* If you're offering the service, your responsibility is to complete it, on time and with no additional cost to your client.
However, we will not support accusations against stealing or the loss of torches, Organ Set, or Game loss. You're doing this at your own risk."
This definition...if I read it right...you could steal the torch even from the mediators because they could not make a supported accusation.
This is one of the things I think needs to be changed...there should be very SPECIFIC rules on how to run an uber (even down to setting them up).
Dunno.
