It's a good idea, but it's one of those things that will never work. What will end up happening is that people will ask for loan, use the loan money to buy items then make a multi. Or get the loan, make a multi and transfer the gold to the multi. It would be awesome if it worked, but it's impossible.

Why are loans so popular on here lately?

I don't think this would be a good idea at all.
There would be too many ways to take advantages of it and it would just create more problems than it solves.
With these threads in place, loaning will be more common, thus creating more problems for it.
Also, it would be too much work for the mods, who are very busy with their current workload
