Voted no as there is not a way for the med to post the disposition of the trade as to whether complete, modified, cancelled, or scam attempt. Also feature could be abused for price controll by third person posting spam or porn, locking thread and thus preventing further bidding. Problem can be averted by having bidder create a new thread and having original poster post in it.

Thinking about this I thought that, you actually can stop people from making further bid even now. You will just not have the option to request a mediator.

Also, if it is important to reply to the topic then it is possible to request a TA or TM to open and close it afterwards.

Don't see why not, that way if a thread is closed because of 60 posts or something they don't need a totally new thread

Breaking the rules should not be supported by the members or staff, so why would they offer to help members trade after breaking the rules?

Properly make/maintain your thread and follow all the rules and you can Request Med like everyone else.

I voted 'no'.

What if you got closed for 60+ replies? and what if your thread got closed because of another user's behaviour?
You are still able to do a deal after the thread is closed, so why not help doing this and prevent scamming.

Also, if the user's want a mediator, because a thread got closed then they will have to make a new thread and that would in some cases be breaking the rules again.
