Honestly, I can't believe EA wont allow a name-change.. Mine is '8721hu8hasdo' because back when I entered the beta, the server wasn't responding or whatever, and now im stuck with that because i mashed my keyboard and then it all of sudden accepted it..

Did you try contacting their Live Chat? I had some issues as well with name change... I have some persona's for EA and one of which is "crackils" yet they said it was already in use, so I could not use the username I already own. Best of luck though, Live Chat people try to play hard ball but be persistent and they will just give in.
