Hell yeah, love me some MTG. I know plenty of people who would use it other than myself as well.

Imo there are already plenty of websites  that support MWS so that isn't something that needs to be promoted here. I would much rather see a section for rules/strategy/deck ideas. A Price Check section for online cards (Use Blackborder for real cards) and mainly a place to trade forum gold for tickets and/or cards.

We don't need to promote <that program> here. I mean, feel free to use it to post Decklists and whatnot, but whatever.

Blackborder is fucking terrible to price cards with, they use an online shop average as their database, and there's no way bulk rares in the market are $1.00+ (what most online stores will sell them at, regardless of how good they are). The only reliable price guide is the MOTL price guide, eebay, and your own brain. This is, after all, the secondary market.

But yeah, would like to see some action on this subject, sure would make me more active here.

Well, starcitygames and eebays are the main sites to know what your cards are worth.

I'm a competitive legacy player and I would surely like to help people. I know a bit about vintage and prices as well. I play EDH for fun as well.

Definitly a yes from me.

SCG? You mean, the 50%+ markup they're making for Eternal staples right now is fair? Right... I'll stick to MOTL & eebay, but I probably wouldn't suggest a "trading forum" for MTG anyways. Too much legal stuff and technicalities involved (mail fraud if there's a scam, you can't trade card-for-card, etc. It's too messy).

I always play EDH, just don't have a deck. I guess you're in charge of the Vintage stuff, I have very limited knowledge in that department.

Maybe not a trading forum, but we could have a topic in it to ask about the value of a card.
BUt SCG is in fact overpricing their eternal staples because of the grand prix and the results of the recents SCG5k$, they are still the #1 source for knowing what the cards sells for.
If price higher on some cards on SCG, they will go up in stores and on eebay.
