Loans should be made between two people with a relationship of some sort and in an under the table fashion.

It's an agreement between the two parties and you should be prepared to take the fall if the other party does not hold up to his side of the agreement.

i would vote yes but there's a few things (i haven't browsed through 14 pages )

loans are free will . and should only be made to friends/trusted people
you can't really prove a loan , the accused could always say it was a donation , or even a trade without a comment , or something they think of
3rd ..begging is not allowed and loans often happen as a result to begging (for a short term as loan)

Reasons:
Its the users choice to trust someone with a loan,
I could of also ticked yes its not a bad idea, It is scamming imo

Ive only ever trusted someone with a loan and they paid me back so i havent really got the same insight as you have.

Now that i think of it i think a yes would have been the better tick

Loans are at your own risk, this mean that you have to trust the person you are giving a loan. Plus mediators cannot hold any forum gold for loans so well it's a bit pointless

You simply get the person getting the loan to agree to the "Terms of Conditions" and blam, if they don't pay up then...
