And as you say, it could familiarize newer users with forum rules

I really would like to see the so called reasons for some of the things that get closed here.

Would be good for the new people as well and probably eliminate a few "Why'd my topic get locked?" threads in general help.

Well often times when people do ask why is my topic locked, it was a semi-complicated reason or the moderator made a mistake.

Sorry, I dont see any reason why people should see why it was closed. I also feel this would cause alot of Wheres the early bump in thread topics :/
