No, for 2 reasons

1. It's unnecessary hassle for returning members.
2. People who have early multi accounts will be blessed with awesome new name

if they have a multi, that usually means they are locked, so it won't matter.

Also, the e-mail can entice people that forgot about the site to come back

its a null from me, because if this person comes back on his/her own, it would be annoying to have some '10 random to have your name

I don't really like the idea, they took the name.

Good idea but I'm going to have to disagree; they may have potentially changed their e-mail since then and lost any trace of the old one, how would the user know what account is his? Complete unnecessary hassle...just for a name. Also the user should have all rights to demand his old account name back.

No, because if I was lookin to take some time off -- I wouldn't want some rand takin this name let alone screwing with what I worked to make for myself. Only ways to get a name should either be getting it first - or - agreeing on swapping with someone. Otherwise, let it go.

And some of us 'do' keep our emails/ pwds recorded and definitely won't be happy having to find a new name after being forced to part with it.

Voting no.
What if someone decides to come back? It's not fair that their username gets taken away.

Yes I was thinking about this the other day, or at least delete them from jsp because no one cares about them
