doesn't work because how would you decide how long to keep it at the bottom?
if you truly wanted to group all the closed together, wouldn't they be on page 200?

i guess you could make it so that closed threads will go onto the bottom for like, 1 min after it's closed before being moved to page 200, but i don't see how that's better

voted no, will be too hard to find the archives we want. We can find a topic by the date of the creation of it.

Imagine a competition of being first on the "closed" list in a trading section.

No.

Closed topics should not have their own list.

Very good idea rew happy.gif

only suggestion: Push them downt o bottom of first page, when a new topic is created/bumped, make them push off to second page.

i think it  needs improvement
because when my topics have 59 posts and i bump them (in trading sections), i am still hoping that someone might see the closed topic and PM me regarding the topic

This would make any closed topic moved so far to the back of the page list, that it would be unreachable. The extra load to change such on the back end wouldn't warrant such a change, and it'd make more sense to "auto archive" closed posts instead, in my opinion, since they would essentially be unviewable anyway.

However, I still don't think this is the best of ideas, for a number of reasons, specifically related to non-trade forums, and the multitude of reasons why a topic may be closed.

One case point: Site Suggestions. Unless they were auto archived @ close, then people wouldn't see some of the more commonly nixed ideas. And auto archive assumes one would read the archives.

maybe a auto archive after so many hours after it was closed?
