New Group: Donors/members Xtra(or Just Extra Or X) - Topic

Unless this is already sorted out, it would take some time to distinguish each group of person (i.e. people who have bought FG from people who have donated FG).

Well donations all have to be done manually if im not mistaken. he could make it a completely new feature in which everyone would have to re-donate (not so good)
or just update it so anyone with a donation could do it. i think he has donor amount and purchased fg amount.

What about the people who did the Donate For Me feature? I'm not saying this is a bad idea, just potentially has a lot of backtracking involved...

You could say these for possible benefits:
10 seconds off the flood filter control
Extra pictures in post (1-3 nothing major!)
5 or 10 extra PM's in Inbox
Extra Title Features (maybe implement 1 or 2 title features available only for donors)
Longer time to edit posts (an extra 10 minutes or so)

These are just some examples, as you can see really do not give any truly unfair advantages to donors, but does make it a bit cooler to be one . I feel that if donors had more to it then just having stars or donor forum, MANY more people would be inclined to donate.

sort of like how when you donate to kids in africa they send you tshirts and pictures.
Let me know your guys' thoughts, i felt this would be a good move on Njaguars part, and helps the donors slightly

Though I think that people who purchase fg for money should not get donor stars, just because they are donor stars and not purchase stars.

I see what your saying when once you have donor forum access, there isnt much benefit to donate then to buy fg because you still get the stars, however instead why not give the onces who donate more like you said those rights only with out a new user group. Because the new user group would be a rip off of a trusted tag. (Null vote)

its nothing like a trusted tag, and not evne close to a rip off. trusted tag ~ rated : Trusted
thats it, there is no benefits for being a trusted, this is completely different

What do you mean? people who have done the donate for me feature are registered as donors.
